Here's A Few of the people that make things happen 'round these parts
Loren is a student at the SRJC, currently working on an Associates in Sustainable Agriculture and a major in Natural Sciences. Loren is a Jack of all trades, fisheman, mushroom forager and nature geek. He also has a well rounded base of knowledge in soil and plant sciences.
Tyja is a graduate of the SRJC culinary program, and a well respected chef. In addition to his love for food he is a lifelong gardener, avid fisherman, mushroom forager and animal lover. He and Sarah raise rabbits, goats, sheep, and pigs.
Sarah is a sebastopol native and has had extensive nursery experience and is a permaculture enthusiast. Sarah brings her knowledge of plants , happy smile, enthusiasm, and organization to the farm.
Colleen is the master of jams and jellies and the backbone of bills being paid around here. She is essential to the organization of the farm. She also is a bee enthusiast and a member of the Sonoma County Bee Keepers Association.
Rick is a retired sheet metal journeyman, with over 30 years sheet metal and construction experience. He also served in the Airforce as a mechanic. Rick is the master of all things mechanical, and is responsible for much of our construction, innovation and anything tractor related. Rick loves working with metal, and is a specialist in making recycled functional art.
